I have 2 pairs of tickets to giveaway to any one of the 4 weekends of comedy shows left this Summer. They are hosted by Campbell's Resort and take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. Both locals and tourists seem to be enjoying the talent being showcased this year.
How do you get these? You just need to take advantage of a wine tour that visits any 4 wineries of your choice ($100). This tour needs to take place any Monday through Friday this month and then just simply tell me you want comedy tickets. I'll give a pair of tickets to the first 2 tours that are booked, if you ask for them. Again, I only have 4 tickets to giveaway so they go to the first 2 wine touring groups that express interest!
Summer is not over yet, but it maybe getting a bit busier as many of you try to get the late vacations in before school starts back up again. Take time out during the week in Chelan for a fairly affordable wine tour and then enjoy some laughs at the comedy show. For more info on the shows, check out the rotten apple presents page.
Sorry for the long delay in between postings, but time didn't allow for too many creative production ideas during the Summer and early Fall months. Here is my way overdue slideshow that was intended to be produced and posted about 3 months ago. Thanks to everyone that chose ReQwest for their wine tour or transport needs during my first year in business.
While many of you are quite content with a great view and/or some wine in your glass, some vineyards are happy to share more of an actual tour experience. What does this mean? In short, it basically entails a walk to the vineyards and through their production room(s) where an expert staff member explains how grapes get from the vine to your glass. It may also include tastings in the different stages of age. Overall, it is an education on growing and production with many interesting insights.
Depending on the type of tour and what (if any) production maybe currently going on at the winery, a tour can be anywhere from twenty minutes to almost an hour. Please be aware that this type of tour may not always be possible during a Saturday; the most optimal time is usually weekdays. Most often this type of tour must be pre-arranged so that the correct staff is available.
All tours that I have either been on or heard about thus far have no charge associated with them. The only charge is for your tasting fee which most wineries have, but some do waive with a bottle purchase. There is no extra charge to set up this type of tour for you either. If you have more questions about this or would like to book this type of experience, please email or call.
